ANTHONY BRANDON WONG in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. He has long been involved with the HIV/AIDS community and Human Rights. Anthony is a down-to-earth guy with a heart centered on helping others through his work, coaching actors, and humanitarian interests.

DILLER WAS A KILLER . . .
PHYLLIS DILLER WAS A KILLER WHEN IT CAME TO LAUGHTER!
She could have you rolling in the aisles in tears.
The icon of standup will be missed.
I interviewed her about 10 years ago at her Brentwood home, where she died today in her sleep. During our brief time together, she was quite the hostess, conversationalist, and tour guide [of her home].
In this pic we're standing in front of one of her paintings.
While showing us around her home, she said,
"This is the Edith Head."

GOOD [BYE], GORE
How sad it was to hear that GORE VIDAL died yesterday. He was such a hero for me. In 2005, I interviewed him at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Physically, he wasn't doing very well back then, but his mind was sharp as a cooking knife. Thankfully, his books and plays will live on and on. A revival of his play, THE BEST MAN, is currently on Broadway with James Earl Jones, John Larroquette, Cybill Shepherd, John
Stamos, Kristin Davis and Elizabeth Ashley. Thanks Gore for your wit, wisdom, and overabundant talent . . . .

PASSING
Another one of my faves has died?! GEEZ. An I Love Lucy alum, DORIS SINGLETON, was sexy up to the very end! I'm so happy she left an ocean of work behind so I can always be reminded of what a talented actor she was . . .
HARDLY KNEW YA!
I had such a huge crush on "Robbie" when I was a kid! Can't believe the news this morning that DON GRADY who played Robbie on My Three Sons has died at 68 years young.
Another piece of my childhood has vanished.....

BAD GIRL -- YEAH!
LONG LIVE DISCO AND IT'S QUEEN!
IN 1979, my first time to Europe, I was visiting Munich. I knew that this was the city Donna Summer recorded, "Love to Love You Baby." So I just had to go the studios where it all got started. The people I was staying with just couldn't understand. They said: "Why do you want to go there? There's nothing there but just a storefront." But I had to go. It took me a couple of subway rides to get there, but I finally arrived. My friends were right; there was nothing there. It was very non-desrcript. But I had great satisfaction knowing that I was in the exact area where Donna Summer was and where disco began.
On another note, for several years now I've been in contact with Donna's PR trying to interview her. Sadly, it will never happen . . . But recently I did interview the other Queen of Disco, GLORIA GAYNOR! That will soon be an article in A&U magazine and you can see the video of our interview at:www.DANNandKELLY.com
