WORDS WORDS WORDS

Very enjoyable film with good performances by:
Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons,
Zoe Saldana, Dennis Quad, Ben Barnes, and more

"'The Words' is a wonderfully expressed movie that will touch your heart and help people see that it is never worth lying about something even if you want something so much that without it you feel like you cannot go on and that life is hopeless. “Think before you do something” are simple words but are also very powerful and in the end can save another person from experiencing scarring pain. Life is not easy but it’s how you make the best of it that makes you a person worthy of praise."  -- Kelly Sisco

THE GETTY ADDRESS

Visited AILEEN GETTY at her newly acquired Paul William's sprawling ranch house in Ojai, California.

She surprised us with lunch, a superb array of vegan delights. [The dessert was to "Live For!"]  The cozy foursome consisted of  L.A. artist, Davidd Batalon and the delightful publicist, Sarah Ezzy. The afternoon was filled with captivating conversation -- a mix of moving dialogue, lighthearted tales, and engaging memories. Think Max's Kansas City New York or the Paris salon of Gertrude Stein. Her lovable Akita, Tara, was on hand to provide added entertainment. Thank you, Aileen, for a ravishing afternoon.

A very interactive interview
[trying to hide my double chin]

Aileen gives a tour of her charming quarters

DANN:  "Come on, Sarah. Let's boogie down, girl!"
AILEEN [pointing]:  "Don't drop her, Dann. I need her in one piece!"

Fused with artwork, this is Aileen's living room

The home is centralized around a courtyard fountain,
dotted with flowing olive trees.
What a peaceful effect.

Aileen and Tara -- two sweethearts

 Time to bid adieu

Thanks for your sunny and generous hospitality, Aileen!
