ORGAN

This cat makes the organ zing!

Interviewed Cameron Carpenter last week and I'm still convinced that he's Karen Carpenter's secret love-child.  The man has talent galore.  Think Liberace with a twist of  Rudolf Nureyev and pepper in some kd lang.

Presently traveling worldwide, Cameron is packing theatres with his concerts.  Catch this man if he comes near you.  You'll be delightfully entertained and have a cherished memory.  His recent CD release,  Revolutionary has been nominated for a Grammy.

I enjoyed our interview, Cameron.  It was nice to be "Close To You..."

Karen Carpenter was a favorite of mine. I followed her career so closely; don't ever recall her taking time off to have a baby, do you?

Her obsession with being so thin; she was in Seattle 'doctoring' when I lived there.

I'm wondering if her brother could have fathered a child; he plays a great piano, and you say he plays the organ.

The fact Karen and her brother looked so much alike, it would have been far easier for her brother to have had a 'love child', and the public would have never heard who the mother was.

....just a thought....

Hi Happy!

Appreciate your interest, but actually this was all in jest. Sorry to be the spoiler. What's true, though, is that I am also a SUPERFAN of The Carpenters. Be sure and checkout a few posts below of my tribute to Karen --
