IT'S TIME

Currently I am taking a Creative Nonfiction class at UCLA. I’ve taken other writing classes in the past at UCLA but it has been awhile. It feels good to work beside and learn with others. I’m hoping to begin my Memoir while in class. . .

In a few days, the cover story with Apolo Ohno will be out on the stands, which will coincide with the International AIDS Conference in Mexico City where copies will be distributed.

The 'dude' in the shower is Olympic gold medalist short track speed skater, Apolo Ohno.

Stay tuned to my blog and I'll let ya know when it's available and where to get copies.

Thanks, guys.

Hi Dann. I'm really looking forward to your Apolo Ohno article. I hope I can find that issue around here... Upstate NY. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to see more photos... Apolo is a true hero and an inspiration to many who follow his career. Thanks for featuring him.

I have been avoiding commenting on here simply because I find myself staring too intently at Apolo...

Just from what I've heard thus far, your memoirs will be an incredible read. Life begins after Ohio, doesn't it? I seriously need to get my butt back to college to finish an English degree. I know I need to brush up on my technical writing.

Ken, it's okay to stare at Apolo. He likes that! ;)

Keep me posted on your book proposal. This sounds fascinating.

Well, life DOES begin after Ohio, but Ohio certainly provided the strong foundation! I'm happy to have been raised there . . .
