FUNNY LADY

Another loved comic died over the weekend – Dody Goodman, who hailed from my hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Known for her wit, wackiness, and wild voice, she was probably best known for appearing in TVs Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, and, of course, the films Grease and Grease 2. It wasn’t two weeks ago that I was asking some friends, Whatever happened to Dody Goodman? Sadly, now I know.

Is it just me, or have the best celebrities been passing away over the last decade? We're losing all the decent actors...

Hey Ken --

I guess the older we get, the more we lose, huh? The actors we grew up with, those role models, are dying. When that happens, it feels like a part of my childhood is gone. Oh, boy, when Lucille Ball died, nearly 20 years ago now, I really felt the loss!
