REMARKABLE SOUL

I am overwhelmed with sadness today

when I learned of my dear friend, 

NAN LEDINS

passed on Friday.

In less than a week, she

would have been 85 years old.

Just a month ago I wrote an article

about her that I am very proud of.

I don't know if she got to read it.

Nan and I had a special bond and "in the day"

had a bunch of fun. Constant fun, with

some serious talks tossed in.

Nan, I will never forget you.

 is on my Top Five favorite list!

This guy is a total inspiration and . . . 

well, instead of explaining how I feel,

I LOVED ROGER MOORE!

(My favorite James Bond)

Several years ago I came "this close" to interviewing him, especially about his work with kids for UNICEF.  

The date and time was set, but at the last moment,

his schedule changed.  For 12 years after that 

I kept trying, working with his personal assistant

to hone in on a date.

Unfortunately, it never happened.

I liked every one of his Bond films, and especially sharing 

them at the time with my buddy, Steve Ma.

Steve and I couldn't wait until the premiere of

the latest Roger Moore Bond film!

Roger was also terrific in the little known

film with Carroll Baker (one of my favorites)

in THE MIRACLE

I was in heaven!

What a classy guy!

I will miss his films...

UNFAIR!

. . . and I protest.

Why is it that all talented people 

can't "make it" (financially)??

This question will haunt me

till the end of my life

 -- and --

Why is it that some people who 

do NOT possess any talent whatsoever,

"make it" (financially)?

IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.

In my book, those who are talented

and don't have the fates and luck in

their favor . . . 

WE   ARE   THE   CHAMPIONS!
